Option 1: USB Cable (most common)

Windows: Install TM Virtual Port Driver (creates virtual COM port for Web Serial API)

→ The driver creates a COM port that Web Serial API can access
Option 2: Serial Cable (RS-232)
• Connect printer to native COM port (or USB-to-Serial adapter)

All platforms: Works directly via Web Serial API - no driver needed
• ✅ Best for Windows (bypasses USB driver conflicts)
✅ To use this app:
1️⃣ Access via
http://localhost or
https:// (NOT file://)
2️⃣ Click "Check Connection" to verify Web Serial API is working
3️⃣ Click "🔄 Change Device" to select your printer
⚠️ Troubleshooting:
• If using USB on Windows: Ensure Virtual COM port driver is installed
• If using serial cable: Check Device Manager → Ports (COM & LPT) for COM port
• Close any other apps using the printer
• Use Chrome or Edge browser (Web Serial API required)
